Control the machines with vision
Sometimes vision needs to control the machines when they are sorting.
Here we have an example when we have integrated vision in a centrifugal feeder.
The vision camera system tells the machine whether or not the details may be released.
In this case, we have 30ms to photograph and assess each lid that passes the camera before the next lid needs to be checked.
We have an output of about 150 ok lids / min
Outside we have an extra camera that controls the other side of the lid, in this way we know that the lid is correct on both sides before it goes to mounting on the can.
