Step feeders are especially suitable for saving space as they are very compact. Step feeders are also very suitable for fragile components as the handling is very smooth. Cubic parts up to 200 mm in length and rod-shaped parts up to 500 mm in length can be sorted with a step feeder. Sorting rails after the step feeder can be built up to 3,000 mm in length with a transport speed of up to 10 m / min.

MAFU Step Feeder

Steps that move in opposite directions transport the parts out of the bunker on the MAFU step feeder and transfer it to the MAFU linear feeder. The width and thickness of the steps are adapted to the articles being fed so that extremely gentle handling of the details can be guaranteed.
A low and therefore ergonomically optimal filling height can be ensured even at high outlet heights.

Weber Step Feeder ZEL

Low noise
ZEL feeds screws, nuts and pins and is gentle on the material. The system allows cycling speeds as low as 0.8 seconds. An output rail with low vibration, which minimizes vibrations, enables transfer of coated and sensitive parts. This is a very important aspect, especially with regard to the requirements for technical cleanliness. Integrated sensors guarantee high process safety. The measures to reduce noise emissions are designed for noise protection in the workplace.

Low susceptibility to soiling
The container for fasteners is made of stainless steel – the integrated slider made of hardened tool steel or plastic. These surface properties reduce abrasion and prevent soiling. A bunker feeder can be installed as an option.
